A Little About Us:


Gunjan, Co-Founder

I am a Fashion Designer from NIFT Delhi and have worked in my family business of Exports of Fashion Accessories for over 15 years. Having been blessed with motherhood, I decided to take a break from active work, as I wanted to enjoy the moment and give 100% of my time to raise my son until he started going to school and was settled with his new routine. The inner passion of entrepreneurship never left me during this period and I dabbled with a few ideas where I could add more joy, laughter and smile in the lives of other Moms, who wish to give the best to their young angels. 


Playful Plunge was born out of a few brainstorming sessions with my life partner - Pranav, as well as insights from other Mommies, where I could marry my deep passion for designing and crafting products which Moms would love to buy for their little ones. At Playful Plunge, I am responsible for Research, Design and New Product Development.
 

Pranav Poddar, Co-Founder


I am an Industrial Engineering graduate from Purdue University, USA and have over 20 years of experience working in the USA and in India. I moved back to India to start my entrepreneurial journey. I Co-Founded one of India’s largest Robotic and Automated Car Parking Solutions companies along with my father in 2005 and implemented over 100 Car Parking Infrastructure Projects until 2014. I also Co-Founded a Health-Tech & Wellness Company in 2007, which is one of the leaders in this space in India currently, serving over 400 Corporate Clients and 19+ million people in their Health & Wellness journey. 


I founded Ikigai Ventures along with my life partner - Gunjan in 2020 and we started Angel Investing. While having invested in a few startups over the last few years, we really wanted to start something of our own, which would add meaning to our lives and to the lives of other parents. Hence, the birth of our new brand - Playful Plunge, where I am responsible for Sales, Marketing, Finance, HR and Operations.

Our Inspiration for launching the Playful Plunge brand is our 6 year old Son, Aarav!


He is our Chief Creative Officer! All designs go through for further development and production only after his approval :)
